Chaguar Basket Circle - Dyed with Tree Back
Chaguar Basket Circle - Dyed with Tree Back
Our basket bowls are handwoven from the strong Chaguar fiber, gathered by the indigenous Wichi women in Northern Argentina. After gathering the wild crop, the chaguar is processed in a traditional method that includes soaking the harvest, extracting individual fibers, and spinning them into a weavable texture using ash. These baskets imbue any space with a raw, refined elegance, whether used as a catchall or simply appreciated as art.
Colors and sizes may slightly vary due to the unique, handcrafted nature of each bowl and each artisan’s creative process.
